01.21.10 - So it's been awhile since you've heard any updates. The NEVER GIVE UP Distro is still going strong, putting out demos by DESERTER, COPFACE and GLO, Re-releasing REPUBLICORPSE's seven inch record "TO THE DOME" and stocking PAPERDOLLS and CROW'S FOOT, and planning to embark on an East Coast tour thiis March w/DESERTER & CROW'S FOOT. -b. 07.06.08 - the Never Give Up!! Distro now has a NEW WEB SITE where you can see what we're up to, where the distro is, order shit and get free music. I've had a few requests for Pray for Death CD's lately; for the record we never got anything 'pressed;' I have to make them as i go so please be patient. I also made a cassette version of the "All our heroes..." Although, since people are still interested in having a copy, we've been talking about 'pressing' the old remastered recording or a compilation of most everything. if anyone who has a distro or has experience doing so would want to help us out with a cd/record/tape please send us an email. thanks for yer support. stay gold. -b. 12.06.07 - In keeping up with things i put a last.fm player on the audio page so you can listen to shit for free. -b. 08.03.07 - *THE LONG OVERDUE UPDATE* So, this spring, after attempting to get our sht together and play shows in nola, get a better quality recording with all current members on it, and tour the country this summer, we lost our drummer, and we're not playing shows, indefinitely. So sorry to everyone that was helping us and happy to see us booking a summer tour; we are all REALLY FKN BUMMED it didn't work out. So many amazing people we were hoping to catch up with along the way. At least those of you who were in new orleans got to share a couple of shows with us. We don't know what the future holds for the band, us, you or anything for that matter... Never give up!! -b 08.02.07 - Anti-Civ Records, a collectively run label in Mpls, has decided to help us put out and distro some stuff. We didnt get a chance to record before the drummer ditched out, so there is not any new stuff, but old recordings and live recordings are being remastered for use. 04.01.07 - bad news - we had to cancel the florida your due to a bandmates obligations that failed to be brought to the groups attention in time and a lack of responses from contacts for the shows that we were working on, one that actually fell through! what a bummer. 02.12.07 - Pray For Death/Until Its Dead Florida Tour - April 07! Reorganized and ready to fukn go, we're going to do a short tour of florida then head back to NOLA to work on a record. Check the shows page for dates! also, my book with all my tour contacts were stolen last year so if anyone has contacts for us, please email them to us; we are planinng on a FULL US TOUR this summer, so any help would be much appreciated. (insert rant here about how important the DIY community is and how much we love it and all those who support it HERE) See ya soon! ALSO - Leftover Crack, Citizen Fish, Witch Hunt Tour - Police Riot at Orlando Show Info - I was touring with these awesome folx and was witness to some kids getting beaten and maced by the police (and in the intern pepperspraing everyone) after the show in Orlando. Some of us involved are collecting information about the incident in an effort to support the people who were brutalized by the police. if you have any helpful information; pictures, names, etc., please email it to me and i'll make sure it gets to the right people. Nicole (WH) and I are also working on getting in touch with Civil Rights Lawyers. also check the witch hunt and leftover crack pages for updates. fkn solidarity. -b. 01.19.07 - Our future plans are developing. Considering we never 'broke up', yet decided to have home bases in rather different places around the country and also do some travelin', we are now contriving a second phase plan to put out an actual record on recycled vinyl and play some shows, fests, and tour in the late summer fall! So far we're on for C.L.I.T. FEST in Richmond, VA! Oh, and if you have any old pictures or live video or audio recordings, we'd love to post em on our site, and possibly get copies... 01.17.07 - I went and remastered the first album we recorded, years of experiance later, and i think it sounds and flows a lot better. from now on that's what you'll get when you pick up an 'All our heroes...' cd/tape. Also, I remastered the '05 Tour CD' and Amy and I put four remastered live songs from the Pittsburgh show. We think it sounds a lot better. If you want any, check out the Mail Order page or there should be a couple at the Wayward Council Collective store in Gainesville, FL. 11.24.06 - As of right now were waiting on the following releases - Jihad Records Comp - Slug & Lettuce Comp - Repute Records (7" or L.P.). we'll let'cha know when they're finished. 04.20.06 - I updated the site a bunch. new songs and pics. 04.18.06 - we're trying to get it together to record at the not-for-profit studio (that is also our practice space) and put an actual record together and find some financial support to print and press a bunch of copies and get it distro'd 'cause we're all pretty broke, (as it goes) possibly this fall. we're all pretty spread out right now so it's been hard to try to get together. in the mean time, Skillet and Ld's other band BOLTCUTTER is touring from Seattle to Florida in May. they have a myspace page with the dates on it. Amy and my band INVASIVE SPECIES is playing a show on sunday the 23rd in Gainesville with WITCH HUNT then we're going out of town fer awhile. I've also been playing with an awesome BENEFIT band in gville called GAINESVILLE LIBERATION ORCHESTRA. If yer going to be in the midwest come to the BIKE! BIKE! community bike collective conference in Milwaukee *May 26-29th*. don't forget that ALL PUNX MEET IN SAINT LOUIS day is may 25th/26th.
